Jamshaid Iqbal

Mathematician, P. h. D

Welcome!

My name is Jamshaid Iqbal, and I am an aspiring researcher in fluid mechanics. I completed my Bachelor's and Master's degrees at COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan, where I developed a solid foundation in fluid dynamics and mathematical modeling. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Fluid Mechanics at COMSATS, focusing on peristaltic flow, nanofluids, non-Newtonian fluids, and the application of Artificial Neural Networks in modeling complex fluid behavior. My research aims to enhance understanding and predictive capabilities in various industrial and medical applications.
I have one year of research assistant experience, during which I contributed to multiple projects and honed my skills in theoretical and numerical analysis. As part of this, I completed a one-year research project in Prof. Dr. Fahad Munir Abbasi’s lab at COMSATS University Islamabad, funded by HEC Pakistan (Grant: 7395/Federal/NRPU/R&D/HEC/2017). Additionally, I collaborated with Dr. Rab Nawaz at the Gulf University in Kuwait for six months, further expanding my knowledge in fluid mechanics. Currently, I am conducting research at Vanderbilt University in the USA, where I am immersed in a dynamic academic environment. This experience is enabling me to make meaningful contributions to the field of fluid dynamics and address real-world challenges through innovative research.
